Foundational Astrology looks at the relationship between the human being and the stars as an expression of evolving consciousness. From the ancient ages, when the heavens were first divided into constellation regions by the Babylonians, each constellation became associated with an expression of gifts and deeds from the divine. Then, the Scientific Revolution that took root in Central Europe, which literally moved the Earth, and our own age and perspective here in the West, evolved into a new star wisdom that seeks to emerge from within the human being.

In this course, we will look at humanity’s relationship with the stars through the lens of the cultural arts. Explore your personal astrology through an engaging, interactive process in order to re-enliven your sense of being an integral part of the cosmic whole. In this workshop, Star Lore Historian Mary Stewart Adams will offer a basic introduction to the astrological star pictures that over-arch every human biography along with the planetary rhythms that unfold in the course of each life.
