Rooted in the Wild was founded by Mel DeBoer, Registered Nurse and Naturopathic Practitioner, combining her years of experience as an RN with her deep knowledge and passion for traditional medicine and natural wellness. The practice offers healing through herbs, homeopathic remedies, breathwork and ayurvedic modalities. It’s a new system of healing based in hand-holding, sharing of traditional medicine and the return to the innate power to heal.

DeBoer brings together Eastern and Western practices for holistic wellness and natural healing and offers Naturopathic Consultations in addition to a variety of other appointment types and support modalities for clients.

Holistic Sexuality Therapy is for individuals or couples who are ready to revolutionize their sexuality through holistic dialogue, acupressure, somatic practices, breathwork, herbs and flower essences.

Breathwork is a type of therapy using breathing exercises to heal on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level by producing a transcendental state naturally. During these one-on-one sessions, the patient is guided to transform habitual patterns, stored trauma and held beliefs into a state of balance within the body for authentic healing. Reiki as well as light healing touch may also be utilized on an individual basis.

Pediatric Consultations are available to assess symptoms of acute or chronic conditions in children ages 12 and under. Evaluation of imbalances, dietary concerns, allergies and appropriate remedies such as homeopathics, herbs and flower essences are assessed using non-invasive muscle testing.

Nutrition, herbal and homeopathic support are also available in addition to laboratory tests to help clarify symptoms and conditions.
