The Healing Center

The Healing Center is a natural health hub that helps people improve mind, body and spirit on a path to total health. Through traditional methods, holistic nutrition and homeopathy, folks at The Healing Center aim to help clients heal inside and out, working closely with each person to attain emotional literacy and a connection to purpose.

“We truly care about our customers and clients,” says Tonya Nichols, Certified Energy Medicine Practitioner and Natural Wellness Coach at The Healing Center. “We do our best to provide effective healing modalities that may be used alongside or as an alternative to traditional medicine. We realize that everyone is different, and we treat our customers as individuals and really listen to what they’re needs are.”

Nichols and the other experts at the center offer natural health consultations that address each client’s needs and how to incorporate holistic nutrition, herbs, supplements, essential oils, flower essences and homeopathy into daily life. The store carries all of these products along with a great selection of stones, crystals, Oracle and Tarot cards, incense, all-natural scented candles and more.

In addition, modalities such as acupressure, craniosacral therapy, emotional clearing, full spectrum healing, massage therapy, reflexology and Reiki are available by appointment, performed by therapists and healers who work to clear blocks in the emotional, mental and spiritual bodies to allow healing to occur at all levels.

Lindsey Strawn is a new massage therapist at The Healing Center. “She is trained in medical massage and she combines that with Reiki healing,” says Nichols. “So, her clients get a very unique combination of massage and energy healing that goes beyond traditional massage. Her clients love her!”

Nichols, who is also co-owner of the center, has started offering Kinesiology sessions for anyone who would like help determining the best immune-boosting supplements to support health. “I know there are a lot of questions out there right now about the best supplements to take to stay healthy, but there is not a one-size-fits-all answer. By using kinesiology, also known as muscle testing, we can determine the best regimen for each individual based on their unique needs.”

Because stress is a big issue for many at this time, Nichols is also offering appointments to put together flower essence remedies designed specifically for each client to help resolve stress and anxiety.

Later in the fall, The Healing Center will have its annual Body, Mind & Spirit Expo. The expo will include mini sessions with body workers and healers, such as massage, craniosacral, full-spectrum healing, Reiki and more. There will also be psychic and intuitive readers in to offer readings. Information on this event will be available soon.

For those who are seeking to learn the art of self-care, inside and out, and would like to find healing at a deeper level, The Healing Center is a great place to start.

“The medicine of the future will focus on not just the physical body, but also the emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies,” says Nichols.
